You will undoubtedly be aware that on the 01.11.2009 Germany is introducing the EORI – number (Economic Operators' Registration and Identification Number)which will replace the current customs number.
The application deadline for the issue on 01.11.2009 ends 30.06.09.
All customs number holders are strongly advised to switch to the EORI number, otherwise no further customs clearance can be made longer.
Please make special note that the EORI – number must be applied for in the member state where you are established.
